Fire. Fall. Down.

Leviticus 6:13

“The fire must be kept burning on the altar continuously; it must not go out.”

The fire must never die out. The fire of God must always be kept aflame.

It’s a challenge nowadays with our busy lifestyles and uptight lives that we can spend even the slightest moment with God and rekindle a fire - a relationship with Him. The fire doesn’t strictly mean “kinetic movements”, being hyperactive with this and that in a church, but it simply means the deep, intimate love we have for Him. That love is the fire, the fire that cleanses us from every vile, absurd desire we have for the world.

That’s why I’m encouraging you to ask for that fire. Allow it to fall down in your lives and cleanse you anew to a changed soul.

Praises, Lord, praises! Let Your praises be heard. Let the fire fall down on us.

Improvised

We get what we can out of life. When life gives you lemons, you make lemon shake.

While my cousin and I were making our way to Chong Hua, we came across this guy. Such a humbling site and a great talent (Yes, he doesn’t have eyes and he can still play this improvised wooden lyre). This moment just makes my everyday worries like little pennies you find in the attic. Worrying about the food you’ll have because you’re hungry, worrying about that load because you can’t text your friend, worrying about becoming someone in your society, they all look so little compared to this.

Let’s just think and evaluate for a second, are we really making our own lemon shakes or are we just wasting our lemons on things that we worry about?

C’mon, make something out of it. :)

Southern Lights I

If you’ve heard of Urbandub then you’ve heard of Under Southern Lights. The album was great and I really miss them. More power to Urbandub!

Anyways, I’ve been practicing with low-light scenes and what more perfect scene to follow than their album cover of Under Southern Lights. If you’ve seen it then you’ll know what I’m talking about. From a rookie’s point of view, it still sucks with all the noise in the picture but I do hope you enjoy the picture.
